ORANGE GOAT’S MILK SOAP

1 teaspoon orange mica powder

2 tablespoons isopropyl alcohol

2 kilos goat’s milk cleaning soap base

¾ teaspoon orange important oil

2 tablespoons recent orange zest*

isopropyl alcohol or butter to coat molding

isopropyl alcohol to spray away bubbles forming on cleaning soap

* = zest from 1 orange or 2 tsp dried orange zest

Makes 10½ bars, 1″ huge. Takes 3 hours half-hour.

PREPARATION

Add orange mica powder and a pair of tablespoons isopropyl alcohol to small mixing bowl. Combine with fork till nicely blended.

Reduce goat’s milk base into 1″ cubes. Add goat’s milk base to giant glass measuring cups. Soften base in microwave with timer set at 30 seconds. Repeat till utterly melted. Stir after each microwaving. Add orange mica powder/ isopropyl combine and orange important oil. Stir with knife till nicely blended. Let sit for five minutes.. (This inhibits orange zest from settling to the underside of the cleaning soap mould.) Add orange zest. Combine with knife till nicely blended.

Spray silicon mould with isopropyl alcohol or rub with butter. Pour into cleaning soap mould. If desired, flippantly spray bubbles with isopropyl alcohol to make them disappear. Let cleaning soap sit for 3 hours. Use cleaning soap slicer to chop cleaning soap into slices 1″ huge.
